Organic Spiced Sativa Cider

This 4:20 eve, I wanted to share a non-alcoholic THC drink alternative that’s easy to execute and even easier to drink.

This organic medicated mocktail is perfect for those looking to entertain on a limited budget – but still want to impress.

All you’ll need  are a few simple ingredients like organic apple cider, which can be substituted with orange or pineapple juice for a more tropical version of the drink. In addition, you’ll also need a few organic lemons, jalapenos, apples, and fresh mint for brightness.

Step 1:

In a cocktail shaker, add 4 oz spiced organic apple cider and 1 oz lemon juice.

Step 2:

Add 2-3 1/4 inch slices of jalapenos (depending on your heat preference), ice, and shake well to combine.

Step 3:

Next add 2-3 drops of sativa tincture (2- 5mg THC per drink) to a glass filled with ice and a fresh mint leaf.
Of course you can always leave the cannabis out for a refreshing non-potable or you can spike your drink with a shot of booze. Just keep in mind, only non-psychoactive cannabinoids like CBD, CBDA, THCA, etc,. should be used to craft alcoholic beverages.

Step 4:

Strain the liquid into the glass filled with ice, stir gently and top with soda water.

Step 5:

Finally, garnish with an apple wedge and sprig of mint.

To create the homemade spiced apple cider:

Organic apple cider, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, lemongrass

    1. Take 2 cups of organic apple cider and add organic cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and lemongrass to a small saucepan and bring to simmer.
    2. After 2- minutes of simmering, remove from heat and let the ingredients infuse for 5-10 minutes before straining.
    3. Allow the cider to cool to before use.

Whenever creating any THC (psychoactive) cannabis-infused drinks, it’s advised to “go slow and keep the dosage low”.
